- Put all your weight on your right shoulder to prevent him from pummeling his arm back under.
- Keep your head on the opposite side of his head from your underhook, looking away from him.
- Lift your butt up, slide your knee through to side control.
Next we did side control escaping.
- Put your forearms across his hip and throat.
- Push with your forearm near your elbow, not your wrist.
- Move your hips away, slide your right knee in across his waist.
- Turn your body so you are facing him.
- Hook your left foot inside his right leg.
- Pull him to your guard.
To counter this escape.
- Don't let him get posture. Kill his posture.
- If his arm is across your left hip, crush your left hip down on it.
- Or slide your right hip across it, pinning it against his head.
- if his left arm is across your throat, block his elbow with your right hand and move your own head down to under his armpit.
- Don't keep your weight evenly distributed. Put all your weight on one point. A 1 lb screwdriver hurts a lot more than a 1lb cookie. Jimmy to demonstrate with his screwdriver at this point.
